Photography & Fine Art Contest

Celebrate Wildlife Through Art and Photography

The Photography & Fine Art Contest brings artists, photographers, and creative minds together to celebrate the beauty of wildlife and nature during the Black Bear Festival. This exhibit showcases original artwork and photography inspired by the outdoors, wildlife, and the natural landscapes of eastern North Carolina.

Hosted at the Roanoke River Maritime Museum in Plymouth, the contest begins with a Friday evening reception where visitors can meet artists, view the entries, and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by creative work. The exhibition continues throughout Saturday so festival guests can explore the artwork on display.
